sectyelectronics GmbH was honored with the W.I.N. AWARD 2006 of the magazine P.M.

sectyelectronics GmbH received the award in the category "enterprise/products". The price for the "Advanced Earhquake Warning and Security System secty lifePatron®  was accepted with pleasure by managing director Jürgen Przybylak in Munich on November 23rd in the context of a ceremony.

The development of the sensor technology to record the so called primary wave of an earthquake is the real innovative part of the advanced earthquake warning and security system. This primary wave is innocuous and only metrologicaly preceptible. The primary wave reached the location of the systeme earlierthan the secondary wave because the primary wave is approximately twice as fast as the destructive secondary wave and therefore one can set off an earthquake alarm in due time.

The advanced earthquake  warning system is additional disposed of a modern electronically operating facility management system. It is able:

• to drive elevators on blocks,
• to stop at once escalators,
• to open emergency exits,
• to open roller shutters for the fire department
• to stop cranes on the factory floor,
• to switch on emergency lightning,
• to activate emergency generators,
• to connect trafic lights  

The development of an operating sensor technology and a suitable evalaution electronics to ensure a secure an advanced earthquake warning was only possible by the scientific support of the Geo Forschungs Zentrum Potsdam.

This idea price was donated by the P.M. magazine "world of the knowledge" and is supported by the initiative "partner for innovations". Leading representatives from economy, science, politics and labor unions have started this initiative at the beginning of 2004. It is aim to create a new culture for innovations so that Germany can claim its position under the leading technology locations.

The Federal Government into person of Federal Chancellor Merkel supports the initiative of the P.M. magazine. Into 15 professional groups more than 400 experts attend to product innovations in the field of energy, telecommunication, health and mobility. They initiate projects and formulate recommendations
